a frozen belly lies all encased cold.
hard bone teeth chatter nights
expose pinpoint stars clattering.
huddle animal warmth. what beds
still a soft breath seen under skin,
how flesh molds to sharpness
enfolding and between keeping toe claw
open hooks against hoar
glistenings silent fall.
to rest to death all come
stirring brittle life
crumbles.  weak thoughts
encase bloods passion    hunt
gather life trembling,
desire flames skys black cold
seeing colour rise and dance
eyes watching
crouched watching
spring
fire frozen body
leap hungers.
